Ini Daftar Lengkap 73 Jenis Obat Sirup dari Lima Perusahaan yang Ditarik Izin Edarnya oleh BPOM
Dari daftar jenis obat sirup tersebut, total ada 73 jenis obat sirup dari lima perusahaan yang telah ditarik izin edarnya.
TRIBUN-MEDAN.COM - Diketahui, Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) kini menarik obat-obatan sirup yang mengandung etilen glikol dan dietilen glikol melebihi batas normal.
Dari daftar jenis obat sirup tersebut, total ada 73 jenis obat sirup dari lima perusahaan yang telah ditarik izin edarnya.
Tindakan ini merupakan upaya pemerintah guna mencegah terjadinya penyakit gangguan ginjal pada anak.
Sebelumnya ada tiga perusahaan farmasi yang produk obat sirupnya tercemar etilen glikol dan dietilen glikol.
Ketiga perusahaan itu adalah PT Yarindo Farmatama, PT Universal Pharmaceutical Industries, dan PT Afi Farma.
Kini deretannya bertambah panjang dengan total lima perusahaan yang ditarik oleh BPOM, yang terbaru PT Samco Farma dan PT Ciubros Farma.
Kepala BPOM RI Penny K. Lukito mengatakan, penarikan obat sirup mencakup seluruh gerai industri besar farmasi, pedagang besar.
Kemudian apotek, instalasi farmasi, rumah sakit, puskesmas, klinik, toko obat, dan praktik mandiri tenaga kesehatan.
"Produk kedua farmasi itu menggunakan bahan pelarut yang tidak memenuhi syarat," kata Kepala BPOM RI Penny K. Lukito dikutip dari konferensi pers, Rabu (9/11/2022).
